SPECIAL ELECTION: Call for Nominations
This is a call for nominations for a special election to fill open positions on the MAR-AMTA Executive Board. All nominations must be in by 11:59 PM on Friday, September 8, 2023. We are looking for individuals willing to run for the following positions:
- Vice President for Conference Planning (2 year term)
- Vice President for Conference Planning-Elect (4 year term)

The MAR Executive Board are seeking volunteers for the following appointed positions.
Editor: Oversees our quarterly newsletter, sends emails to the community about news, elections, events, etc., facilitates elections (ballots, results, reporting), maintains mailing list, attends board meetings.
Assistant Editor: works with the editor.
Exhibits coordinator: organizes the exhibits hall at regional conference and works with the conference planning council.
Regional Representative to the National Professional Advocacy Committee: “Committee Goals: 1. To advocate for the professional representation of the [profession] of music therapy. 2. To assist membership in responding to misrepresentation of music therapy in the media and in public.”
