MAR-AMTA Conference Research Poster Session Application

Format for Research Poster Submission

Write an abstract that describes your research using the following content areas. Please follow the word limits for each section and delete all material in this introduction and in the parentheses for each section.
By submitting this application, you agree to submit all requested materials within the requested timeline and present at the Poster Research Session—a poster of your research and a short 8 to 12-minute presentation if you are selected. Due date for proposal is January 5, 2023. Applications should be e-mailed to Kathy Murphy, kmurphymtbc@gmail.com. Please enter MAR 2023 Research Poster Session in the subject line.
Last year we began giving Outstanding Research Awards to qualifying graduate, undergraduate, and
professional research projects. Each research proposal, slide presentation, and poster will be rated by members of the research committee, and the total number of points across the three categories will be used to determine the awards.
Please keep the bold headings and remove all information in ( ) when you submit.

Purpose of study: (write a purpose statement or research questions/statements in about 100 words or less)
Method: (describe how you conducted your study using about 175 words or less)
Method of Analysis: (describe how you analyzed your data using about 100 words or less)
Results: (summarize your results in about 175 words or less; be sure your results are connected to your purpose; indicate statistical significance if quantitative) (in that you must present a completed study, indicate completion date and expected results if needed)
Conclusions: (summarize conclusions in 100 words or less)
Application of Results: (summarize application to clinical work or other areas in 100 words or less)
