Please see the attached flyer for details on a day-long workshop at Molloy College on Friday, October 21, presented by the New York State Task Force on Occupational Regulation (NYSTF) as well as representatives from AMTA and CBMT. The morning session is geared toward students and others who would like detailed information on the Mental Health Practitioners law and the step-by-step process for achieving the NYS LCAT. The afternoon is for professionals (LCATs and non-LCATs), covers a wide range of practice issues and provides 5 CMTEs (3 of which meet the CBMT ethics re-certification requirement). Details on location, registration, etc., are included in the flyer.
We are especially pleased to announce that Dr. David Hamilton, PhD, LMSW, Executive Secretary of the NY State Board for Mental Health Practitioners, and Diana P. Georgia, Esq., Executive Vice-President of The Elk Street Group, will be joining us for the day at Molloy.
Please note the early-bird registration deadline on the flyer. We hope to see many of you at Molly College on October 21!
