Sarah Mayr

Sarah Mayr (she/her) received a bachelor’s in music therapy from Duquesne University and a master’s in music therapy from Molloy University. Sarah has worked in various settings, including hospice, skilled nursing, memory care, and home-based care. She presently practices on eastern Long Island, providing in-home music therapy services to individuals of all ages with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

The Editor shall: edit, supervise, and publish the official regional publication which shall be published quarterly pending availability of funds; and submit a report at the annual conference. The Editor shall: attend Regional Executive Board meetings; establish and/or maintain a handbook outlining job responsibilities; and communicate with, advise and guide the corresponding student officer. The Editor shall carry out such other duties as may be assigned by the President or the Executive Board.
