Madison Frank

Madison Frank, MMT, MT-BC (she/her) is a board certified music therapist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Therapy and a Master’s of Music Therapy from Temple University. At the moment she is receiving supervision for her Pennsylvania professional counselor license. Madison has experience supervising music therapy students and is an adjunct music therapy professor at Immaculata University with experience teaching both master’s equivalency and undergraduate students. Madison’s clinical experience includes working with neurodivergent children, teens, and adults across a variety of settings. She practices music therapy through an eclectic and integrative lens, responding to each individual client in a way that best fits their needs. Through building rapport, meeting clients where they are, and utilizing their strengths, she takes a person-centered approach to clinical work. Having been a student member, professional member, and now a co-chair of the Pennsylvania State Task Force for Music Therapy, Madison is excited to lend her advocacy skills to the Mid-Atlantic Region of the AMTA as the Government Relations Elect.

As per the MAR-AMTA Bylaws, Article III, Section 11, the Government Relations Chair-Elect shall: study the duties of the Government Relations Chair in order to be prepared at the appropriate time to take over the responsibilities of the office; assist the Government Relations Chair as requested; maintain communication with the Government Relations Chair; assume all duties of the Government Relations Chair in case of resignation or removal of the Government Relations Chair; attend Regional Executive Board meetings during their term of office; participate in regional State Task Force conference calls; establish and/or maintain a handbook outlining job responsibilities; and carry out such other duties as may be assigned by the President or the Executive Board.
