Job Description:
The Nashua Community Music School is seeking a community-minded, versatile, reliable, and motivated person to join our team as a part time music therapist. This person will play a key role in the continued growth and development of the NCMS Music Therapy Program.
The ideal applicant must:
1. Be a Board Certified Music Therapist
2. Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy (or equivalent or higher degree) from an accredited university
3. Have a genuine passion for working with clients of all ages and abilities
4. Believe that high quality music experiences should be accessible to all
5. Have a demonstrated devotion to unlearning biases and developing ongoing cultural humility
6. Feel at home delivering in person and occasional remote sessions for all ages
7. Possess the vision and enthusiasm for fostering the growth of our new MT programs and community partnerships
8. Comfortable completing standard documentation in a timely manner
9. Have the capacity to work independently and as part of a team
10. Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel in and around the Greater Nashua area
