Conference 2023 Begins!
Welcome to Niagara Falls!
Our 2023 regional conference has begun! Yesterday our packed opening ceremony was introduced by Jordan Smith, who led a group thank you and song in the Mohawk language. The mayor of Niagara Falls, Robert Restaino, came up next to speak about music therapy has impacted his and his loved ones’ lives for the better. Our keynote speaker Jana Stanfield (her short bio is down below) blew us away with her wonderful story telling and song writing.
Following the beginning festivities, people split off for their first concurrent session and the exhibit hall. Our 20+ exhibitors were ready to greet people

Our Keynote speaker will be Jana Stanfield, an acclaimed international speaker and songwriter who has received rave reviews internationally. She is known as “The Queen of Heavy Mental,” Jana describes her music as “psychotherapy you can dance to.” With soaring vocals, acoustic arrangements, and meaningful lyrics, Jana Stanfield says her goal is to use her music to give people a “faith-lift.” Her fans say the music is the ideal alternative to Prozac… all the mood elevation with none of the water retention. Through the global charity she co-founded, “Together We Can Change the World,” she helps women and children in need of education, and leads volun-tour trips with the theme, “The Life You Change May Be Your Own.”
“Jana is a multi-faceted, multi-talented person who can deliver the results you’re looking for. She can make a huge difference in your life, the life of your conference, and the life of your organization.” ~ Jack Canfield, CEO Chicken Soup for the Soul Enterprises.
