Music Therapist – Board Certified
Full-time remote position for telehealth

Company – Music Speaks, LLC

Location – Remote. Serving various clients for telehealth (virtual) music therapy.

Populations – This position will work in both group and 1:1 settings with adults in memory care.

Hours/Benefits – This is a full-time position; Music Speaks defines full-time as 3.5 – 4.5 days in the field per week, plus office time. This position will be remote until a therapist is hired for in-person services.

Job Requirements –
The therapist in this position must have Board Certification (MT-BC) from the Certification Board of Music Therapy (CBMT) before working in the field.
The therapist in this position must be registered and licensed as a music therapist with the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services before the first day of field work. Some clients served remotely are in Wisconsin and this state requires licensure.

Job Description –

Music Speaks is seeking an additional team member who enjoys working alongside multiple disciplines while having the support and collaboration from a team of music therapists.

The Music Therapist will be directly responsible for communication with and providing services for the Music Speaks clients on their caseload, including scheduling, direct therapy time, and completion of documentation.

The Music Therapist will attend regular meetings with a small team of music therapists based on populations served to brainstorm creative and proactive strategies to strengthen client relationships and partnerships.

The Music Therapist will be an active advocate for quality music therapy services and professionalism of the field, every session, every communication, every day.

This position allows the therapist to learn and grow with many other music therapists and professionals, continuing to build skills and knowledge through active practice and with clinical supervision, while serving on a team that works together to create a positive impact on the lives of our clients and the field of music therapy as a whole. All under an established company, with a flexible schedule.
