Job Description:
We are looking to find a Music Therapist to cover for our current Music Therapist, who will be out on maternity leave from approximately mid-June to mid September at New Jersey School of Music in Medford, NJ.
Clients include a mixture of in-person and virtual and range from children through adults. Coverage hours are afternoon through evenings, as well as one assisted living group offsite, and one virtual group.
Music therapist will be provided with client descriptions, preferred client sheet music, instruments except guitar, and paid observation/meeting of clients in mid-late May to make the transition as smooth as possible. Music therapist may also have the opportunity to pick up a few additional clients in the fall or future if there are inquiries for music therapy that do not fit into the current schedule.
Recent graduates (or those graduating in May) working towards MT-BC can still apply.
Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
