The MAR-AMTA would like to make music therapists in our region aware that on January 31st, Howard University received a bomb threat – the second this month (the first time being on January 5th). Other Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) also received a bomb threat the same morning. We are appalled by these racist threats of violence and stand in solidarity with Black music therapists, educators, and music therapy students.
