Music Speaks is excited to announce an opening for a Client Relations Manager on their Operations Team. This role is best suited for a board-certified music therapist ready to leave clinical work and begin a supportive role in managing client relationships and ensuring safe and quality music therapy services for clients through collaborations with small teams of field therapists.

Role Purpose: The purpose of Client Relations Manager is to: (a) maintain and grow partnerships with key clients, (b) facilitate meetings with Music Speaks field team members on strategies to strengthen client relationships, (c) manage client business contracts, and (d) ensure safety of team members and clients by updating and implementing COVID protocols.

Description:

● Music Speaks is seeking an additional team member who enjoys working independently while having support and collaboration from a team of music therapists. Client Relations Manager must be passionate about building and strengthening partnerships with clients, as well as advocating for the music therapy field and the services of Music Speaks.

● Client Relations Manager will be directly responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients through regular communication and meetings.

● Client Relations Manager will facilitate regular meetings with teams of field therapists to brainstorm creative and proactive solutions to improve client relationships and address any topics brought forth by the client, as well as strategies to move beyond the standard client/vendor relationship into true partnerships.

● Client Relations Manager will assume a business role through monitoring and updating contracts to meet Music Speaks current standards of practice, negotiating rates of service, moving forward with the extension, renewal, or completion of business contracts, and keeping databases up-to-date and organized.

● In order to maintain the rendering of safe services for both team members and clients, Client Relations Manager will be responsible for updating and implementing company COVID protocols, as well as ensuring all team members are trained in most updated versions of protocols.

● This position allows the therapist to learn and grow with many other music therapists and professionals, using skills learned in the field and applying it broadly to help make a positive impact in our music therapy world. All under an established company, with a flexible schedule.

Requirements –

● Board Certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT)

● At least two years of clinical experience

● Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

● Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members

● Creative problem solving skills and adaptability

Preferred Requirements –
● Experience with Google business platforms
