On Behalf of the MAR Research Committee, we would like to announce the recipient of the MAR GRADUATE STUDENT RESEARCH AWARD;
The recipient of the 2016 MAR Graduate Student Research Award ($1,000) is Katherine Myers-Coffman for her research study ‘The Resilience Songwriting Model for Adolescent Bereavement: A Mixed Methods Study’. Katherine is a PhD student at Drexel University and this is her doctoral research study.

The MAR Student Research Awardee is selected through a blind review process. Any faculty who are members of the research committee and whose students submit an application recuse themselves from the scoring process to allow for a fair judging process.
