NJ General Assembly Passes A2183

NJ General Assembly Passes A2183!!!

On our way!  New Jersey music therapists are celebrating passage of A2183, the Music Therapist Licensing Act, in the General Assembly on April 12, 2018. The New Jersey State Task Force (NJSTF) is pleased that this was accomplished so quickly.  Starting on January 29th and culminating with the April 12th vote A2183 was introduced, released from the Regulated Professions Committee, and voted on in the General Assembly.  NJSTF is grateful to our Primary Sponsors Assemblymen Bob Andrzejczak, Gordon M. Johnson and R. Bruce Land and Co-Sponsors Assemblywoman Carol A. Murphy and Assemblyman Raj Mukherji for making this possible.  NJSTF also thanks the many NJ music therapists who took time to contact their Assembly legislators in response to our Call to Action for this latest vote.
