Dear Colleagues,
Please see the attached flyer for details on a day-long workshop at Nazareth College of Rochester on Saturday, September 24, presented by the New York State Task Force on Occupational Regulation (NYSTF). The morning session is geared toward students and others who would like detailed information on the Mental Health Practitioners law and the step-by-step process for achieving the NYS LCAT. The afternoon is for professionals (LCATs and non-LCATs), covers a wide range of practice issues and provides 5 CMTEs (3 of which meet the CBMT ethics recertification requirement). Details on location, registration, etc., are included in the flyer.
For those of you who are interested but are not near Nazareth, NYSTF will also be presenting the same workshop at Molloy College on Friday, October 21. We are pleased to announce that Dr. David Hamilton, Executive Secretary of the NY State Board for Mental Health Practitioners, will be joining us for the day at the Molloy workshop. Notification and registration information for that will be distributed closer to the workshop date.
